The place is on steeles ,food was decent , filter coffee was machine made , restaurant was empty and not crowded at all . For food delivery there was a serving robot that my son was fascinated with . Bill came for 4 items at $58.00 . Overall a decent experience. However there is loud punjabi music played at a south indian restaurant. Can do better
This Dosa Boys restaurant, in a great spot, has a warm and lively feel that pulls people in for tasty South Indian food. The seating area is bright and nice for eating and there’s plenty of parking for everyone. The dosas are the best part—crisp, authentic and full of flavor. Other dishes are also yummy and suit different tastes. But the dining experience isn’t as fancy as it could be. I don’t like the plastic water glasses; they feel cheap and ruin the vibe. The tables are okay but not stylish and there aren’t enough tissues, which is annoying. The serving food with spoon feel basic and downgrade the vibes to ordinary place. These things stop the restaurant from feeling special, even though the food is good. Overall, Dosa Boys is a solid choice for delicious dosas in a convenient location. The food is great, but making small changes—like better glasses, fancier tables with preset of spoon and more tissues—could make the dining experience match the restaurant’s awesome food and prime spot.
Okay so here i ordered 2 masala dosa from dosa boyz on 28 sep 2025 around 9pm something and when i opened the box of dosa i get a spider inside the box! On staff: ANUPREET KAUR! It started crawling around the box and even on the dosa itself. I never recommend anyone in the world to be there and have the toxic food. Who knows whats inside the kitchen and how they prepare it? Even i called the restaurant and talked to the girl. She said do not post a review we can send some other food in return to that item. If they want this issue not to be open with people so how we all gonna know whats going in there. But i ask if this same happens with you guys and most of the families have kids with them, and what if they get infected by the bug or spider. It is all unhygienic and ridiculous Shame on these guys... -NEGATIVE RATING FROM MY SIDE!!!!!
Last time I had a dosa was 12 years ago in Tamil Nadu, south of India. The dosa I had in this restaurant was same good or even better than then. I tried one of the chicken ones, it was supreme! Staff super friendly, everything very clean, and ingredients high quality. I’ll be back for sure when I’m back to Toronto.
Authentic Taste, Amazing Service – A True South Indian Experience! As someone from South India, I’m always on the lookout for places that serve authentic dosa, idly, and biryani — and Dosa Boyz exceeded my expectations! The moment I walked in, I was welcomed by a warm and inviting environment that immediately reminded me of home. A special shoutout to Nina, who made my visit even more memorable. She was incredibly kind and helpful in guiding me through the menu and suggesting dishes that suited my taste. Her service was genuinely thoughtful, and I truly appreciate her efforts in making sure I had a great experience. The food? Absolutely delicious. Every bite took me back to the flavors and aromas of South India. The dosa was crisp, the idly soft and flavorful, and the biryani was spot on. I highly recommend Dosa Boyz to anyone craving authentic South Indian cuisine — whether you're from the region or just exploring it. And if you're lucky, Nina might be there to make your meal even better!
